The river bed...

When I am down at the river’s end,

I’ll walk to you,

Hold you in my arms again.

You’ll hear the words, “I’ll be home soon”,

But in your mind’s eye,

You see me true.

You’ll know, I am never

Coming back to you.

I’ll sink into the river bed

Till I am invisible to you.
